Welcome to Elgol on the shores of Loch Scavaig, the sea loch from which the magnificent Black Cuillins rise. It offers the most beautiful and majestic scenery in Skye and perhaps in the whole of the Highlands. It is the starting point for a host of spectacular walks and climbs; or for boat trips to explore the mountains and islands; or to watch the teeming wildlife - seals, dolphins, basking sharks, eagles, puffins, deer or otters; or perhaps simply to enjoy the tranquillity and romance of ‘the finest view in Britain’. It is the starting point for a truly relaxing, refreshing, and rewarding time.

And welcome to the three century old Coruisk House, where our cosy restaurant serves the freshest of local ingredients – seafood, venison and other Highland meats and game, enjoyed in front of a log fire, perhaps with one of our selection of single malt Scotch whiskies or a good wine. We would be delighted also to welcome you to stay in one of our two charming guest rooms where we hope to make you feel completely at home.
